Fixed ultrasonic (acoustic) gas leak detectors are being used by most major operators in the oil/gas industry for offshore/onshore installations worldwide. The ultrasonic technology has been on the market for more than ten years but still it is a relatively new way of detecting gas leaks in the petrochemical industry.

Course overview: To provide an in-depth understanding of the ultrasonic gas leak detection technology, including how to install and operate the detectors, Gassonic A/S arranges one-day training courses. The aim of the course is to ensure that everybody involved with and operating ultrasonic (acoustic) gas leak detectors will have full knowledge about wiring, setting up, calibration and maintenance of the Gassonic ultrasonic gas leak detectors. This will ensure optimal safety and diminish time spent on service issues and frustration due to misconceptions.

Gassonic A/S has well-equipped meeting and testing facilities. This enables us to do live demonstrations and practical hands-on training in suitable surroundings. Training will be carried out by highly skilled and experienced engineers.

Location: Course is held at Gassonic in Denmark where practical facilities are available. With special arrangements or for big groups the course can be held at the customer’s premises.

Price: EUR 500 per person at Gassonic including lunch or EUR 1.000 for a group of people at customers' premises excluding travel expenses.
